The World Jewish Congress and the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus are joining the International Christian Embassy in their walk with christ

The International Christian Embassy of Jerusalem’s (ICEJ) annual Feast of the Tabernacles is a christ-centered pilgrimage and worship event. ICEJ's former director Malcom Hedding and Christian missionary and Knesset Christian Allies Caucus (KCAC) affiliate Christine Darg have in the past made that point clear. ICEJ's current international director, Juha Ketola, has declared that ICEJ's core mission is to let the world know of "the return of the lord jesus", and to spread that news from Jerusalem to the nations.

Especially disturbing is this year's keynote speakers list for the event which includes evangelist Daniel Kolenda, a man who passionately endorses missionary training programs for young Israeli believers in jesus and calls upon them to convert Jews. Should a man like that receive a red-carpet welcome - or any welcome, for that matter - in the holy city of Jerusalem in the Jewish state?

Jewishisrael is at a loss as to why the World Jewish Congress (WJC), KCAC and Rabbi Benny Elon’s Israel Allies Caucus (IIACF) have once again announced their participation in ICEJ's Feast of the Tabernacles, an event intended to inspire and challenge Christians in their "walk with christ".

This is all taking place as a part of the 2013 Jerusalem Chairman’s Conference, an apparently "political" event. But Jewish leaders and activists seem to have their wires and bibles crossed today in an experiment called "faith-based diplomacy."

A "walk with christ"? Those are not the marching orders for the Jew. We march to a very different drummer, and somebody should remind Jewish leaders like Rabbi Benny Elon, who has a habit of encouraging missionaries and blessing missionary events in Jerusalem:

"Let all the people walk, each one in the name of his god, and we shall walk in the name of our Lord, our God, forever and ever." --- Micah (4: 5)
